Iona "Midge" Jane Vogt Greiner, 72, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at home.

There is no service at this time. Memorials may be made to the Fairfield Library or Every Step Hospice.

Midge was born Nov. 5, 1947, in Fairfield to Raymond and Martha (Lankford) Vogt. She married Lloyd T. Greiner on July 15, 1966, in Fairfield. They have been married 53 years.

Midge worked at Teeters Cleaners for 27 years before she retired. She loved her family and grandkids. While with the grandkids, they would put puzzles together. Some of her other interests were reading books, embroidery and sewing. Midge and Donna (her sister) made many quilts together.

She will be missed by her husband, Lloyd; three children, James Greiner of Fairfield, Crystal Amendt of Libertyville and Colette Greiner of Fairfield; five grandchildren, Kyle Greiner, Scott Greiner, Landen Greiner, Mikaela Hammes and Morgan Amendt; and her siblings, Donna Stevens and Jim Vogt, both of Fairfield, Julie Gibson of Oklahoma City and Roenna Pool of Fairfield.

Midge was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Martha Vogt; and two brothers, Richard and Robert Vogt.
