Ira S. Krieger
Ira S. ?Mickey? Krieger, 79, of Rome, died of an apparent heart attack at his home at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2001.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial with full military honors by American Legion Post 58, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2561 and AMVETS Post 44, will be in Grant Cemetery, west of Rome. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at the funeral home with family present from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established to the American Diabetes Association or the Henry County Heart Fund.
