Irene Conrad

WINFIELD - Irene Conrad, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Crawfordsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, in the Henry County Health Center.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in the United Church of Crawfordsville. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery east of Wayland. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, where the family will be present, and one hour prior to the service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the Crawfordsville First Responders.

      Mrs. Conrad was born Dec. 19, 1916 west of Crawfordsville, the daughter of Edward and Fern (Shafer) Roush. She married Willis (Bill) Conrad on Aug. 27, 1936 in Kahoka, Mo.
