      Irene E. Edwards, age 85, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      Friends may sign the Book of Condolence Tuesday, November 13th, from Noon to 7:00 PM. No family visitation is planned.

      Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

      Irene Drueke Edwards was born January 11, 1922 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Drueke. She married Wesley Edwards, Sr. on March 3, 1946.
