Irene E. Thompson

      RIVERSIDE - Irene E. Thompson, 91, of Riverside died Friday, April 13, 2007 in her home from a sudden illness.

      Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Fr. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held in St. Mary's Church hall. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Riverside Senior Village or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside.

      Mrs. Thompson was born July 13, 1915 in rural Riverside, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Koss) Rotenburger. She married Marion Thompson in April, 1934 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside.
