Irene Elizabeth Namer

      KEOTA - Irene Elizabeth Namer, 73, of Keota, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in the Holy Trinity Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemeteries - St. Mary Cemetery in Keota. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Keota QRS or Keota Fire Department.

      Mrs. Namer was born March 20, 1934, in Wallingford, the daughter of Leon and Florence (Jurries) Fry. She married Ronald Namer on May 26, 1953, in Graettinger.
