Irene G. Welcher
Irene G. Welcher, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at the Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. Burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will begin after noon on Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with family present at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., a Christian vigil service will be held at the funeral home. Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Park Place Activity Fund and the St. Alphonsus Building Fund.
