Irene J. Drayfahl
Irene J. Drayfahl, 85, of Washington, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, in the Washington Care Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research.
Mrs. Drayfahl was born Feb. 10, 1923, in Valley City, N.D., the daughter of James and Blanche (McClafflin) Carroll. She married William V.F. Drayfahl on Sept. 30, 1939, in Minnesota.
