Iris I. Conklin
LONE TREE-Iris I. Conklin, 91, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m., at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree, with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services, at the funeral home. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Conklin was born on Oct. 15, 1913, in Riverside, to Joseph H. and Mildred (Hawthorn) Linsley. On July 2, 1931, she married William "Dick" Conklin in Iowa City.
