Irma A. O?Connor

      Irma A. O?Connor, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, died unexpectedly at 11 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited by the Parish of St. Alphonsus at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 with a Christian Prayer Service to follow at the Gathering Center of the church. The family will receive friends after the prayer service until 9 p.m. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 at Weir Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Memorials have been established to the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church or the Henry County Humane Society.
