Irma Audrey Cooper

Irma Audrey Cooper, 83, formerly of New London, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Bluffton, South Carolina.

      A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on May 16, 2005, at Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, with Reverend Matthew Miller officiating. Remembrances may be given to the National Alzheimer's Organization or New London United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of the New London United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the James Harland Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, New London Senior Citizens Club, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and the New London VFW Auxiliary Post 7641.

      Surviving are her two sons, Virgil Cooper Jr., Bluffton, S.C.; and Gary Cooper, McLeansville, N.C.; brother, Jesse Linch, Madras, Ore.; two sisters, Wilma Schellhase, West Des Moines, and Lee Marsh, Rockford, Ill.
