Irvin W. White

    Irvin W. White, 94, of Columbus Junction, died Monday, April 12, 2010, in Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction following declining health.

    Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington with the Rev. Kelly Allard officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29.  Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.  A memorial has been established to Hospice of Washington County.

    Mr. White was born Sept. 22, 1915, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Lon and Margaret (Suffle) White.  He married Esther A. Patterson on Jan. 23, 1938.
