Ivan Ward Clements

      Ivan Ward Clements, age 80, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at his home. Following his wishes, his body will be cremated.

      Visitation with the family will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, IA. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ with Pastor Suzanne Swahn officiating. A private inurnment will be held in Bethesda Cemetery east of Fairfield at a later date.

      Ivan Ward Clements was born in Jackson County, KS on July 30, 1927 to Ralph Ivan and Florence Nellie (Nicholas) Clements. He was a 1945 graduate of Havensville High School, and a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Clements was united in marriage with Patricia Armstrong August 7, 1949. She passed away July of 1961. In September, 1963, he married Dolores Parks in Holton, KS.
