Jack L. Hoover

      RICHLAND-Jack L. Hoover, 75, of Richland, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Packwood Christian Church in Packwood, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst and the Rev. Dean Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in Richland. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, at Gould Funeral Home with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial to the family has been established.

      Mr. Hoover was born on Feb. 2, 1928, in Brighton, to Glen O. and Myra (Hinshaw) Hoover. He married Ruth C. Eklund on Feb. 6, 1949, in Brighton. She preceded him in death in 1999. He married Hattie L. Manning on July 21, 2001, in Fairfield.
