Jack Lawrence Estle

COLUMBUS JUNCTION ? Jack Lawrence Estle, 87, of Letts, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, in Colonial Estates Assisted Living in Columbus Junction.

    Private graveside services will be held at Indian Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Collette Gould officiating. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with Commissioned Lay Pastor Ramona Wink officiating. Following the memorial services, there will be a time of food and fellowship at the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion No. 100, at 99 Second Street in Columbus Junction. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the 4-H Foundation, the Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation or Letts United Methodist Church.

    Mr. Estle was born Aug. 31, 1923, in rural Columbus Junction, the son of John L. and Orpha M. (Foster) Estle. He married Lois Louise Hafner on March 17, 1946, in Letts.
