Jackie Lea Tevis

    LONE TREE ? Jackie Lea Tevis, 52, of Longview, Texas, formerly of Lone Tree, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at her home following a terminal illness.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree with the Rev. Ron Laschmitt officiating.  Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.  Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service Friday at the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mrs. Tevis was born Aug. 28, 1957, in Apple Valley, Calif., the daughter of Oliver Kenneth Hoffman and Betty Ann Simmons. She married Jay Tevis in June 1982.
