Jackie Rickey January 28, 1932 - September 26, 2005

      Jackie Rickey, 73, of Winfield, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 at the First Presbyterian Church in Winfield, with the Revs. Patte Henderson and Elwin Colson officiating. Burial will follow at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Winfield First Presbyterian Church, Sunrise Eden Fund and a Winfield-Mt. Union Scholarship.

      Survivors include four daughters, Peggy Beaty of Winfield, Nancy Blow of New London, Tammy Christner and Shari Evans, both of Winfield; a son, Kendall Rickey of Winfield; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and a brother, Ronald Young of Ottumwa.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
