Jacob L. Stauffer June 26, 2000 - October 30, 2003

      Jacob L. Stauffer, 3, of Wayland, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003 as the result of an auto accident.

      Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Fr. Ed O'melia and Rev. Dennis Kuhns officiating. Burial will be in the Wayland Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. A vigil prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.

      Survivors include his parents, Graig and Lisa of Wayland, grandparents, John and Rachael Stauffer of Wayland and Ron and Deb Campbell of Wayland; great-grandparents Ruth Stauffer of Wayland, Lucille Campbell of Wayland, Virginia Langford of Texas and Robert Briggs of Oregon.

      He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents John Stauffer, Arthur Campbell, Maynard Whaley and Mary Whaley.
