Jacob N. Yoder

KALONA ? Jacob N. Yoder, 57, of Kalona, died Monday, May 11, 2009, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a short illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorials may be directed to the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church, Pleasantview Home or Washington County Hospice.

    Mr. Yoder was born July 3, 1951, in rural Kalona, the son of Noah A. and Catherine (Miller) Yoder.
