Burlington
Jacqueline "Jacque" Bice, 71, of Burlington, died at
12:16 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
Born September 3, 1950, in Iowa, she was the daughter of James and Doris Johnson Telford. On February 24, 1968, she married William Bice in Burlington.
Jacque's career centered around the RV industry. She began her career at Winegard Co. moving to Raysat and finishing her career as a Regional Sales Manager for Thetford Corp.
Jacque was an extremely giving person. She was unbelievably committed to helping others and always put her family first. She was like a second mom to many, and she loved to host. Jacque was always a great interior decorator, getting ready for all the different holidays and seasons. She loved to cook and bake, and was known for her homemade tacos and Christmas cookies. She liked yellow roses, and enjoyed the garden outside and being outdoors in general. Most of all, she loved her family and her grandkids, and she was always there to listen. When she listened, you always knew she really cared.
Survivors include her husband, William Bice, of Burlington; one son, William "Billy" (Lucy) Bice, of Raleigh, N.C.; one daughter, Kristin (Chris) Caldwell of Columbia, MO; one grandson, Matthew Bice; one granddaughter, Allison Bice; one sister, Charise (Chuck) White of Burlington; and her grandpuppy, Moxie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Terry Telford.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
