Jacqueline Foster Alfredson

Jacqueline Lee Alfredson, 61, died July 2, 2000 at her home located at 203 Shenandoah Drive, McCormick, SC 29835.

Jackie, daughter of Floyd Foster and the late Maxine "Pat" Foster, grew up on a farm in Iowa. She married Jack W. Alfredson on March 1, 1959. She was an active member of the McCormick United Methodist Church and volunteered at Helping Hands. Jackie read to terminally ill patients, transported patients to dialysis, delivered Meals-on-Wheels, and served as a First Responder.

She will be missed by family: loving husband; dear father; sister, Constance Foster; brother, Thomas Foster; daughters Perri Bartley, Patricia Alfredson and Judith Alfredson; sister-in-law, Beverly Foster; son-in-law, Gerald Bartley; grandchildren Joshua and James Bartley; niece, Catherine Foster; nephew, Casey Foster; great aunts Betty McDowell, Francis Brown, and Dorothy Baier; great uncle Dean Kerr; and cousins Judith Wessling, Mary Kennedy, William Wilson, Terry McDowell, Ronald Brown, Susan Geltz, Beverly Howard, Douglas Johnston, Carol Perkins, LeRoy Kerr, Michael Kerr, Pat Kerr, Donald Kerr, Nancy Sullivan, Sharon Allen and Kathleen Garrison.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 14, 1:00 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Olds. Jackie will be buried near her mother at Forest Home in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
