Jake Day
Jake Day, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Visitation will begin after noon on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 11 a.m., at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Moravia with the Rev. David Cline officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Moravia Fall Festival and the Friends of Conservation in Henry County.
