James A. Cisco June 9, 1943 - September 19, 2005

James A. Cisco, age 62 of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, September 19, 2005, at his home of cancer.

      Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon -8:00 p.m. Friday at the Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.  Burial with full military rites will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.  Memorials have been established to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Burlington, the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra or to Hospice of Central Iowa.

Survivors include his wife Donna of 36 years, of Mt. Pleasant, IA; a daughter, Jennifer (Leo) Alhambra of Mt. Pleasant, IA; two sons, Matthew Cisco of San Francisco, CA, and Bradley Cisco of  Tucson, AZ; two grandsons, Tiber Cisco and Dominic Alhambra both of Mt. Pleasant, IA.  Also surviving are five sisters, Michel (Herb) Stone of Cedar Rapids, IA, Claire Ann Holm of Madison, WI,  Amy (Steve) Rosenbaum of Sarasota, FL,  Polly Cisco of Dodgeville, WI, and Molly Cisco of Lake Mills, WI; his parents of Sarasota, FL, and his father-in-law, Ralph L. Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, IA.

      Preceding him in death were his grandparents, and his mother-in-law, Helen Lewis.
