James Aloyisius Wirthlin
KALONA - James Aloyisius Wirthlin, 93, of Kalona, died suddenly on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Pleasantview Chapel at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, with the Rev. David L. Yoder officiating. There will be no visitation. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is handling arrangements.
Mr. Wirthlin was born Nov. 5, 1911, in St. Louis, Mo., to Louis and Helen (Wachter) Wirthlin. He married Florence Mae Comar in 1943. She preceded him in death in 1989. He married Betty Jane McClane in 1992.
