James Dean Morrow

James Dean Morrow, 46, of Sidney, MT, formerly of Ottumwa, and his longtime companion, Cheryl Johnston, 53, of Sidney, MT died November 1, 2011 as the result of a pickup-train collision north of Sidney, MT.

He was born September 20, 1965 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Larry Max and Lillie Marguerite Martsching Morrow Sr.

He served in the U.S. Navy on a submarine. A resident of Ottumwa before moving to Sidney, MT, he was an employee of Sidney Sugar. He enjoyed stock car racing.

Surviving are a daughter, Mindy Tedrow of Douds; two sons, Jesse Shobe of Des Moines and Jeremiah Shobe of Grimes; two brothers, Fred (Denise Schlueter) Morrow of Bloomfield and Larry (Rachael Burgmeier) Morrow Jr. of Ottumwa; three sisters, Lillie Fiedler and Lorrie Morrow both of Ottumwa, Michelle (Colten) Chandler of Packwood and his grandfather, George Max (Lucille) Morrow of Moulton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Fiedler officiating. Burial will be in Hilltown Cemetery south of Moulton.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
