James 'Jim' F. Bibee

December 5, 1950 - July 12, 2018

James "Jim" F. Bibee, 67, of Wayland, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He has been cremated and there will be no services.

James Franklin Bibee was born December 5, 1950 in Illinois, the son of James F. and Edna Jane (Craig) Bibee. He graduated from Quincy High School and attended Carl Sandburg College. On April 12, 1985 he was united in marriage to Aritha (Rita) Brown in Iowa City. Jim was a mechanic and worked for numerous shops, including his brother Danny's. He enjoyed working on cars and small engines, playing cards, playing pool and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Rita of Washington; two children: Billy and Jody; four siblings: Danny (Darla) Doss of Burlington, Iowa, Owen Doss of Alaska, Mary (Brian) Eagle of Joy, Ill., and Jerry Bibee of Wayland, Iowa.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents, an infant brother and three sisters: Carol, Janice and Janet.
