James ?Jim? William Blosser

    James ?Jim? William Blosser, 65, of Washington, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, in his home, from cancer.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Jerry Van Hooser officiating.  Burial will at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the English River Church of the Brethren Cemetery in South English.  Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington where the family will be present from 4 to 7 p.m.   Memorials may be directed to the Calvary Baptist Church or to Hospice of Washington County.

    Mr. Blosser was born Feb. 25, 1944, in South English, the son of Oren D. and Emily Kathryn (Slaubaugh) Blosser.  He married Janice Marie Miller on July 1, 1966.   She preceded him in death on Jan. 23, 1998.  He married Mary Mast Bender on July 19, 2003, at the English River Church of the Brethren in South English.
