James Lee Carmon
James Lee Carmon, 73, of New London, died Tuesday, July 3, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, at the Elliott Chapel in New London, with the Rev. Sue Tomlinson and Mr. Tim Distelhorst officiating. He will be cremated following the service. Inurnment will be in Burge Cemetery in New London at a later date. Visitation will be after noon Thursday at Elliott Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the New London Fire Department, New London Presbyterian Church, and the New London Junior Baseball Association.
