James Leonard Brown
James Leonard Brown, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
The body has been cremated. Arrangements are being handled by the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Doris and her husband Burton Shellabarger of Woodward; two sons, William and his wife Betty Brown of Des Moines, and Wendell Brown of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Chester and his wife Phyllis Brown of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Lena Burkey of Mt. Pleasant; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Neva Chrisinger.
