James R. ?Jim? Worley

    IOWA CITY ? James R. ?Jim? Worley, 71, of Iowa City, died Thursday, May 28, 2009, at the Mercy Hospice in Iowa City, of leukemia.

    Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at St. Wenceslaus Church in Iowa City with the Rev. Michael Phillips officiating.  Military honors and a luncheon followed the funeral services.  Committal services will be Tuesday at the Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick?s Church or St. Wenceslaus Church or Iowa City Hospice.  Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City was in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Worley was born Nov. 21, 1937, in Fairfield, the son of Clayton and Dorothy (Beliel) Worley.
