James Victor ?Vic? Bowen

    KEOTA ? James Victor ?Vic? Bowen, 72, of rural Keota, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, near Rose Hill.

    Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Marlene Janssen officiating.  Burial will be at Keota Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to Iowa Chapter 5 International Harvester Collectors Club, Central Iowa Two-Cylinder Club or Wayland Area Antique Tractor Club.

    Mr. Bowen was born April 29, 1937, in the ?Happy Hollow? family farm home, the only child of James C. and Naomi Opal (West) Bowen.  He married Nancy Tompkins on Nov. 2, 1961, in Kahoka, Mo.
