Jane Cassing Zimmerschied Paar, 91, of Winston-Salem, N.C., formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at the Clemmons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clemmons, N.C.

      The body has been cremated. A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Keith Haerer officiating. Burial will be Friday, Oct. 1 in the Lutheran Cemetery in Warsaw, Ill. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. A memorial has been established to Faith Christian Lutheran Church for missionary outreach.

Survivors include her nephew, Donald and his wife Carole Witte of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and a niece, Cherie and her husband Jay Hildebrandt of Newark, Del.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wilford C. Zimmerschied; and a sister, Audrey Witte Dimond.
