Janet Alice Martin

      Janet Alice Martin, 83, of Fairfield, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

      Family visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Cards and memorials may be sent to 1100 W. Grimes Ave., Fairfield 52556.

      Mrs. Martin was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of William C. and Della Marie Henning Praefke. She married Don E. Martin Sr. Nov. 26, 1942, in Milwaukee.
