Janice J. Heitmeier August 6, 1942 - November 7, 2005

Janice J. Heitmeier, 63, of New London, Died on Monday, Nov.7, 2005, in the emergency room of the Henry County Health Center.

      Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov.10 at 10 a.m. at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Rev. Mike Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Winfield Scott Township Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. on Wednesday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established in her memory and may be left at the funeral home.

      Survivors include her children: Larry and his wife Kelly Heitmeier, Jr of Hillsboro, Tammy Heitmeier and Larry Graf of Gladstone IL. Tena and her husband Scott Shumaker of Wayland, Mike Heitmeier and Deb of St. Petersburg Fla. and Raymond and his wife Robin Heitmeier of New London; 13 grandchildren; her companion of 24 years, Larry Swanson; and one brother, Duane Jackson of Mt. Forest, Ontario, Canada.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Terri.
