Janice K. Bergen

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION-Janice K. Bergen, 56, of Brighton, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

      Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m., at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Following services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Masonic Lodge in Columbus City. Visitation will be held today, at the funeral home, from 4 to 8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.

      Ms. Bergen was born on March 6, 1947, in Washington, to Clarence Glen and Marilyn Janice (Nicola) Randall. On June 23, 1960, she married William A. Bergen in Washington. They later divorced.
