Janice Rowe Bates
Janice Rowe Bates, 63, died on Dec. 21, 2000, in Houston, Texas.
The funeral service was held in Houston on Dec. 28. Memorials have been established for the Life Flight program and can be sent to David Bates, 2222 Briar Creek Blvd., Houston, Texas 77073.
Mrs. Bates was born June 20, 1937, in Burlington, the daughter of William and Edna Rowe. She was a flight nurse for Life Flight at Hermann Hospital.
Survivors include four children and seven grandchildren, all of the Houston area; her mother of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers and a sister. She was preceded in death by her father.
