Jarold ?Jerry? Rogers
CONYERS, Ga. ? Jarold ?Jerry? Rogers, 73, formerly of Washington and of Rock Island, Ill., died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, in the Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, Ga., from complications related to stage 1V lung and bone cancer which had been diagnosed recently.
Funeral services and Mass of Christian burial were held Monday, Aug. 29, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers, Ga. A natural green burial took place in the meadow area on the grounds of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Ga., where Mr. Rogers attended daily Mass.
