Jayne Simmering
Jayne Simmering, 52, of Washington, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. The body has been cremated. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mrs. Simmering was born Feb. 24, 1957, in Washington, the daughter of Leslie dale and Mary (McArtor) Eyestone. She married John Simmering on Jan. 7, 1978 in Bettendorf.
