Jean Van Syoc, 97, of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her residence.
The funeral service for Mrs. Van Syoc will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, 100 E. Webster St., Mount Pleasant. The Reverends Steve English and Charles Comfort will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Friends may call from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 1, at the church. The family will be present to receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon prior to the funeral service beginning at noon in the church’s Fellowship Hall. The Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant, is assisting Jean’s family with the arrangements.
