Jeanene Carol (Leichty) Roth was born on December 28th, 1941, in Wayland, IA. The daughter of Herman and Florence (Christner) Leichty, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 7th, 2023. Jeanene was 5th born of 7 children growing up on the family farm. Jeanene committed her life to Christ and was baptized as a young girl and was faithful to the Lord all her life. On March 25th, 1961, she was united in marriage to Herbert Roth in Wayland, IA. He preceded her in death on April 19th, 2003. The couple made their home in Milford, NE, raising 5 children, Wesley, Audrey, Miriam, Calvin and Vivian. Jeanene’s passion was her family and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed cooking for others, quilting, sewing, and working in her garden and flowerbeds.

She is survived by her children, Wesley and Jackie Roth, Miriam and Kurt Stutzman, Calvin Roth and Vivian and Chris Beckler; her 14 grandchildren, Megan and Levi Notter, Levi and Brandi Roth, Colten and Cassie Roth, Ethan Roth; Brodrick and Taytum Stutzman, Garett and Amber Stutzman, Tayte Stutzman; Luke Roth, Morgan Roth, Toni Roth, Rebecca Roth; Katie and Nick Lammers, Grant Beckler and fiancée Taylor Hinds, and Trent Beckler. 10 great-grandchildren, Taysom Notter, Kase, Tripp, Maverick, and Esme Roth; Brigham and Rowan Roth; Nash and Kena Lammers; and Baby Stutzman due in the spring of 2023; brothers, Clarence and Julie Leichty, Ron and Karen Leichty, Leland and Esther Leichty; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (James) Leichty and Karen (Vernon) Leichty; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Cloy (Ora) Roth, Janice (Gale) Oswald, Ila and Larry Kremer, Roger and Nancy Roth, Marieta Roth, Lonnie Roth, Carolyn (Larry) Miller, Joseph Roth, Sharon and Roger Lehman and Leonard Roth; along with many nieces and nephews; and honorary family, Darla Armstrong; John (Coleen) Vosta, Cairee, Jorin, Brayson, and Conlee Masley; Jason, Lindsey, Sam and Austin Vosta.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Roth, daughter Audrey Roth, parents Herman and Florence Leichty; parents-in-law Harry and Velma Roth; brothers James Leichty and Vernon Leichty; sister and brother-in-law Alice and Melvin Roth; sister-in-law Ora Roth; brothers-in-law Larry Miller and Gale.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11th, from 1-5 pm at the Lauber funeral and cremations services, Milford. Visitations will resume from 6-8 pm at the East Fairview Mennonite Church, rural Milford.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 12th, 10:30 am at the East Fairview Mennonite Church, rural Milford.

Memorials may be given to the family for a future designation.
