Jeanette A. Woline

Jeanette A. Woline, 76, of New London, died at 5:50 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Morning Sun Care Center.

      The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Elliott Chapel with the Rev. David Mixon officiating. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery of New London at a later date. Visitation will be after noon on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Elliott Chapel with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.

      Mrs. Woline was born December 16, 1923, the son of Walter and Laura Detrick Elliott. She married Russell C. Woline on May 28, 1939, in Burlington. She attended schools in New London and also many real estate classes. A real estate agent for 20 years in California and also for ten years after moving to New London, she volunteered at Old Threshers and enjoyed traveling, bowls of clam chowder, walking along the beach in California, collecting cookbooks and cups, cooking, family gatherings, and having her family and friends around her.

      Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Rita Cannon of Barstow, Calif.; a son, Gary Woline, of Apple Valley, Calif.; a sister,. Dorothy Bell of Upland, Calif.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
