Jennifer Ann Gipple Freeman

Jennifer Ann Gipple Freeman, 43, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and formerly of Washington, died on Friday, Feb. 9, at the Hospice of the Valley in Peoria, Ariz., of cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Lance Armstrong Foundation or for the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Iowa City.
