Jerome 'Jerry' Forrest Kurtz and Carolyn L. (Craig) Kurtz
BRIGHTON-Jerome "Jerry" Forrest Kurtz, 66, and Carolyn L. (Craig) Kurtz, 67, of Payson, Ariz., died Monday, May 3, 2004, following a plane crash in Cary, N.C.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Phoenix, Ariz. Memorials may be directed to Catholic Charities USA in Alexandria, Va.
Jerome was born on March 3, 1938, in Pleasant Plain, to Jerome and Myrtle Kurtz. Carolyn was born on March 13, 1937, in Illiopolis, Ill.
Jerome grew up in Pleasant Plain, and served in the Army from 1958 to 1961. Jerome and Carolyn met in Chicago, Ill., and married on Oct. 6, 1962.
