Jerry Alan Ross
Jerry Alan Ross, 66, of Carthage, Ill., died of cancer at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at his son's home in West Salem, Ill.
The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at the United Methodist Church in Carthage, with the Rev. Bill Pyatt officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery in Winfield. A memorial has been established.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debra Jean Smith and Shari Rae Bolton, both of Lime Springs; a son, William Alan Ross of West Salem; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Canby of Winfield, and Judy Schieffelbein of Jasper, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
