Jerry D. Ford

      LONETREE - Jerry D. Ford, 70, of Lone Tree, died Monday, June 13, 2005, at his home following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2005 at Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery with full military rites accorded by the Lone Tree American Legion Post No. 457. Following services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home.

      Mr. Ford was born Aug. 17, 1934, in Mason City to Wendell K. and Dorothy (Reed) Ford. He married Evelyn Bahr on Nov. 21, 1953, in Ft. Smith, Ark.
