Jerry Franklin Greiner

      WASHINGTON - Deeply missed is Jerry Franklin Greiner, age 65, who died Sunday February 17, 2008 at his home near Dublin. Jerry had cancer that was recently detected throughout his body.

      Jerry was born 4 miles east of Keota, Iowa on March 18, 1942 at home to Frank and Naomi (Linnenkamp) Greiner.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 21, 2008 at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Ed O'Melia officiating. Visitation will begin noon Wednesday at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday. Prayer services will be held 7:30 pm Wednesday at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home. Interment at Grace Hill Cemetery will be held at a later date.       We mourn as his remains are returned to the ground he so loved. We realize that cancer and heart disease teamed together accomplish what bears, rattlesnakes, and wild steers could only dream. While saddened, we are comforted knowing that his spirit looks after us and is always here to guide us. His family thanks all the generous friends and neighbors who have been so kind the last 2 months.
