Jerry W. Smith

Jerry W. Smith, 73, of Cantril died at 5:10 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

      A service was held at 1:30 p.m. today at Cantril United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Paul Rekward officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

      Memorials to Cantril United Methodist Church, Maple Grove Cemetery or Cantril Waubonsie Park may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua or mailed to the family at PO Box 157, Cantril 52542.

      Mr. Smith was born Dec. 22, 1932, near Cantril, the son of Raymond M. and Charlotte Kisling Smith. He married Karol Dillon. They later divorced. He married Maxine Hughes Mairet Feb. 23, 1956, in Cantril.
