Jesse Lee William Haynes, 26, of Fairfield, passed away July 18, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinic.

Jesse was born August 6, 1996, in Fairfield, to Randy Heckethorn and Jenny Haynes.

Jesse worked for Heckethorn Construction. Jesse had the biggest heart and respected everyone. But never kept his mouth quiet when he had something to say. His laugh would brighten anyone’s day and you couldn’t forget the way he looked at you with those eyes. Jess had a lasting impression on everyone he met and will be forever missed.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Randy Heckethorn and Jenny Haynes; his siblings, Josh Topping and Jersey Money; step-siblings, Travis Heckethorn, Summer Heckethorn, Alexis McElroy and Morgen Francis; and grandparents, Linda Woodburn and Joseph Haynes.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Bill Woodburn.

Celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the VFW. Following the celebration of life there will be a memorial ride to his final resting place in Salina Cemetery at 6:00 p.m.
