Jessie B. Schley

Jessie B. Schley, 93 of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at the Park Place Long Term Care Unit in Mt. Pleasant.

      According to her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Inurnment will be in West Virginia at a later date. Friends may sign the register book and leave memorials on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel. The family request that memorials be given to the Mt. Pleasant Public Library in her memory.

She is survived by her nephew Dick Bell and his wife Martha of Mt. Pleasant; nieces Christie Vilsack and her husband Tom of Des Moines, and Gretchen Bell of New Richmond, Wis. Also surviving are two great-nieces, Jeni Bell and Greta Bell, and six great-nephews, Sam and Jack Bell, Jess and Doug Vilsack, and Per and Joe Bell.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Tom Bell, a sister Harriett Schindler, and by a nephew Thomas Dye Bell.
