Jesus G. 'Jesse' Jimenez

      FREMONT, Ohio - Jesus G. "Jesse" Jimenez, 80, of Fremont died Sunday, May 27, 2007 in Memorial Hospital.

      Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, Fremont, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Columbus City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus or the American Cancer Society.

      Mr. Jimenez was born Sept. 27, 1926 in Bishop, Texas, the son of Lorenzo and Leandra (Gutierrez) Jimenez Sr.

      He was employed at Silver Fleece Kraut Co. in Clyde, Ohio and then worked for Peter J. Eckrich Co. as a machine operator for 23 years, retiring in 1994.
